Airbrushing Equipment |

Although I own a regular shop type compressor I use a dedicated oiless Airbrush compressor with regulator and moisture trap because oil or water in the air to the airbrush will ruin a finish and I find my 7 gallon 125 PSI shop compressor to be overkill and a bit too noisy. No contaminants in the spray along with a quiet shop means better concentation and an overall better looking and longer lasting finish.
The compressor feeds an internal mix dual action airbrush. This type is much better than the cheaper single action external mix brushes as it lets me adjust the amount paint in mid stroke and internal mix gives better atomization.
For making stencils I use regular airbrush frisket film with ink pen and exacto knife. I have a french curve for traditional camo and a grid template with rotring drawing board for digital style camo designs.
